Flexibility.

Michael will find a weekly day and time that works for your schedule. Your lesson may be adjusted or canceled when required and you are not locked into any long term contracts.

What you can expect.

Michael's goal is to prepare your student through a practical approach to playing their instrument with proficiency in whatever musical situation they may find themselves.

Unlike many other music lessons you will learn essential skills and learn how to read music, not just play it! This is very important to know so that your skills will translate into being able to play any piece of music you want to learn and also be able to play other instruments. With some instruments, additional songs not in the curriculum are taught through memorization and coaching. Material from the previous lessons will be briefly reviewed, then new material will be introduced. You will learn exercises to develop playing technique and music theory. You will also learn practical skills such as ear training, sight-reading and notation to give you the confidence to explore the style of music you prefer. You'll learn how to play real songs, and Michael will be happy to incorporate your favorite music into the curriculum. At the end of the lesson, he will provide material to practice for your next lesson.

Michael offers a free introductory lesson and gives discounts for the second student in a family. Call or text Michael at 303-862-1548 if you are interested in a free try out lesson.
